Here are a few tips if you run your own campaign:
- Create landing pages for your keywords and send each visitor to the appropriate page and not to your home page. If I am searching for a specific fishing reel such as a Shimano Tiagra 80, your ad should direct me to this exact page and not the home page of your tackle site.
- Geo-targeting can save you huge amounts of budget and produce leads to the customers by areas your serve. In a recent case study, we setup a campaign for a client where they only serve the Southeast United States. It would be purely unintelligent to show ads and to visitors outside Florida, Georgia, Alabama, etc. So by setting up a geo-targeted campaign, we can display the ads only to those in within the targeted area.
- Increase your quality score. There are several ways to increase the quality score and convince Google you are giving their searches the best experience by clicking on your ads. Setting up mini campaigns with targeted ad variations and landing pages is a good start.
Creating and optimizing a PPC campaign is a daily job and requires you to check your statistics and make tweaks almost daily. Most of the time you are better off to put this in the hands of professional web marketing company such as ours to produce higher ROI’s.

Working with Mike, and SFC Design Group has been a breeze from day one, especially due to my computer illiteracy. Mike has given key insights, and developed a product far superior to my competition on Lake Lanier. I have been given many compliments on my web page from first time clients, and GettinLuckyFishing.com serves as the number one selling factor for my Business. Thanks for making my dream of being a full time fishing guide on these Georgia lakes a reality.
Thanks,
Capt. Scott Collins

In a recent opportunity, we had the pleasure to work with Alan of Allstate Moving and Storage Van Lines. Allan had a pretty quick timeline, so we put together a plan of action to work within his expected time frame once the project started. The old company website was your basic look that needed to be updated in order to capitalize on every visitor to the site.
The revamp to approximately 1 week from start to finish of the project. Allan was in the office on the last day to make final payment and provide us with a few touch up details to the site.
We are confident that Allen’s marketing returns will increase dramatically with this professional web presence. In today’s diminishing economy, online marketing can provide some of the highest returns if done correctly. It starts with a professional website.

We have been quite busy working with current clients on new projects. While we strive for new business, our main goal is to keep increasing revenues for our current customers through consulting and staying on top of the latest in web marketing, while maintaining a strong business relationship.
Recently we had the opportunity to work with several of our existing clients on a new logo. All logos are 100% scalable resolution vector graphics. Below you will see some of the recent logos we have been working on:

Our staff here at SFC Design Group has been a big fan of PDA phones for business use. We have been barely getting by with the use of a Palm Treo for the past couple years and have just been waiting for better technology before making the switch. The Treo seemed to fit the bill at first, but the Palm OS just gave use too many problems.
There were not many good phones to choose from at the time, so we decided to hold out for the iphone 2.0. Blackberry was at the top of list, but the non touch screen was quite the turn off.
The second version of the iphone allowed for developers to make applications that could be useful to the business users. So out it came on July 11th.
After 1 week, I am personally VERY impressed with the phone. While AT&T/Cingular may not have the best reputation, I have found the 3G service to be reliable and fast so far.
The web interface is obviously what separates this phone from others. It is really like having a computer in your pocket. When developing websites we now added the iphone safari browser as another test browser.
I personally sync the phone with my Outlook contacts and calendar each morning.
The phone is very slim and stylish. The ipod works to hold your music and with 8GB I believe it will be plenty for light music user. Those that use their iphone to hold large amounts of music or video will probably need the 16GB.
So did we wait in line with all the other chumps? Sure did. I was in line at about 7:30am and had an 8GB black iphone in hand by 10:30. Some of our colleagues were in line even earlier.
I also picked up the new Jawbone Bluetooth ear piece and a mobile charger. The jawbone took some getting used to, but once I adjusted the size of the earpiece and volume, I realized it is a great tool to have when working in front of the computer or driving.
Overall, this phone is only going to keep getting better and better. A lot of other manufacturers are working 24/7 to come out with new models that will mimic it. I expect Apple to really take over the PDA market.

We have been quite busy lately and haven’t found the time to update the blog, but really wanted to mention our most recent project. Robert of Florida Pool Service has been a long time client of ours and we both discussed updating the look of the website.
The site features a custom design and online photo gallery where the staff can go in and update the photos at anytime. We optimized the site even further for the major search engines and we look for good bumps in traffic in the near future.
We also redrew the current logo into a high resolution format so that it may be used for print marketing.
