Technical-Link.com Website Revamp

Posted on March 28th, 2009 by Michael

Technical-Link N. America was referred to us by a good friend and colleague.   The goal was to revamp their currently outdated website using the latest in web technologies and design.   As this is a recruiting company in the IT industry, we wanted their website to reflect the best design and coding.

We began the project with a custom logo design.  After supplying mock drafts and working to tweak the logo exactly as needed, we went into the web design.

The web design features a custom fluid look that stretches the entire length of the browser.   Using table-less HTML/CSS coding, we are able to accomplish fast page loads by way of lighter coding.

Swordfish Club Launches New Site

Posted on March 22nd, 2009 by Michael

We had the opportunity to work with Skip Smith and RJ Boyle when SFC Design Group was just getting started.   We originally launched a custom database that allows for club members to report their swordfish catches.   The club has grown from just a local group of guys who used to meet in RJ’s tackle shop to a national recognized club with events in land icons such as IGFA.

“We are recognized by NMFS as the largest group of recreational Swordfisherman in the world.”  With the reputation and new image it was time for the club to have a new site created to reflect this.   The site features a content management system that allows the club operators to login and update any page along with a photo gallery.

Magic Fishing Website Revamp Live

Posted on December 2nd, 2008 by Michael

We had the opportunity to work with Captain Alan on his Sarasota Fishing Guide website.  The website was in high need of a revamp to establish a professional presence and stay up to date with web technologies.

Often times, a potential client will want to hear from existing clients on our level of services.  In these cases, we invite them openly to contact any of our current clients directly.   Captain Alan made contact with one of our long time Tampa Fishing Guides and received the information he was looking for.  The project started shortly after.

We pitched a design that was clean, easy to navigate, and most importantly search engine friendly and it was approved for coding in short time.  With the great content provided by Captain Alan, the website today will function as a marketing tool to help book charters.

Testimonial From Scott Collins – Lake Lanier Fishing Guide

Posted on October 17th, 2008 by Michael

Working with Mike, and SFC Design Group has been a breeze from day one, especially due to my computer illiteracy. Mike has given key insights, and developed a product far superior to my competition on Lake Lanier. I have been given many compliments on my web page from first time clients, and GettinLuckyFishing.com serves as the number one selling factor for my Business. Thanks for making my dream of being a full time fishing guide on these Georgia lakes a reality.

Thanks,

Capt. Scott Collins

Florida Moving Company Website Revamp

Posted on October 14th, 2008 by Michael

In a recent opportunity, we had the pleasure to work with Alan of Allstate Moving and Storage Van Lines.   Allan had a pretty quick timeline, so we put together a plan of action to work within his expected time frame once the project started.  The old company website was your basic look that needed to be updated in order to capitalize on every visitor to the site.

The revamp to approximately 1 week from start to finish of the project.   Allan was in the office on the last day to make final payment and provide us with a few touch up details to the site.

We are confident that Allen’s marketing returns will increase dramatically with this professional web presence.  In today’s diminishing economy, online marketing can provide some of the highest returns if done correctly.  It starts with a professional website.
